What marks out RoyaltyInternational in the industry is that, as we have worked on both sides of distribution and licensing contracts, we are uniquely able to speak the language of both parties well and are able to call on our former commercial experience to identify the best ways to work around the typical problems encountered in contract audits and to reach claim settlement.

Unlike larger audit practices, our team has worked from within the industry on the issues faced by distributors and rights owners – and has been on both sides of distribution deals. We therefore adopt a much more commercial approach to our audits. We are consequently better placed to be able to understand what is important in a contract and thus to focus on where errors, omissions or contract ambiguities are likely to be masking value.
